Bettina WitteVeen is invited to be a lecturer for the 11th Borobudur Writers and Cultural Festival (BWCF) 2022, which will be held online on November 24th - 27th, 2022. The theme for this year edition of BWCF is Rereading Hariani Santiko's Thoughts (1940 - 2021). Durga in Java, Bali and India.

The topic of the second series of the Public Lecture program is Durga and Kali. In conversation with producer and dancer Restu Kusumaningrum, Bettina WitteVeen will develop her ideas about Sacred Sister, Kali and Contemporary Photography.

Borobudur Writers & Cultural Festival is a meeting point for writers – both fiction and non-fiction – creative workers, cultural and interfaith religious activists. Each year, BWCF presents a main theme, selected for its potential to stimulate the participants to re-acknowledge the variety, wealth, and uniqueness of ideas in literature, art, and religions of the Archipelago.
